Parrish DeVaughn seeks a full-time Legal Assistant who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting personal injury attorneys and helping clients navigate the legal system. This role is vital to our team and plays a key part in delivering exceptional service and case results for our personal injury clients. The role will be based in our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain contact with Clients throughout the duration of their case to provide status updates, answer questions, and obtain important information.
• Work with medical providers to coordinate medical treatment for Clients, confirm account balances, and provide case status updates.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with insurance adjusters to discuss case facts and determine relevant coverage information.
• Review incoming correspondence and save applicable information electronically in Case Management Software (Litify).
• Work closely with Attorneys to discuss incoming correspondence, medical treatment, insurance information, and case status.
• Prepare and submit finalized disbursement packets to accounting for review upon settlement.
• Execute various data entry in Case Management Software.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience or training.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Certificates, licenses and registrations required: N/A
• Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite
• Other skills required: Phone inbound/outbound calling
